Founded in 2015 by an experienced Wall Street attorney joining forces with a team of software developers, Celant Innovations develops and operates cloud-based and on-premises solutions relating to document drafting and analysis for legal, accounting and financial services industries. The company focuses on text manipulation and related technologies that make computer assisted legal drafting possible. The company’s goal is to create easy-to-use products that resonate with the customers. The company document automation engine allows generation of multiple legal documents accurately and effortlessly, in an intuitive manner. The company platform also automates related workflow, such as appointment scheduling, text reminder, email integration, and shared file storage, which have shown to increase productivity of legal teams in excess of 100%.
Celant Innovations uses artificial intelligence to automatically create legal documents. Their products involve combining answers to questions with learnings from previous similar documents to automate the process of creating new documents. Celant has released four main products that all focus on the legal profession. Their product pipeline has solutions intended to apply this same philosophy to the accounting and financial industries. Celant Innovations is a provider of tools that streamline existing processes of drafting and analyzing documents. It develops and operates cloud-based and on- premises solutions relating to legal, accounting, and financial services industries. At Celant, the company is revolutionizing the way professional documents are drafted and analyzed by providing dynamic and intuitive tools that streamline existing processes. “We develop and operate cloud-based and on- premises solutions relating to legal, accounting and financial services industries. The company goal is to create easy-to- use products that resonate with the clients.” says Jason Lee, Founder, Cenatil Founder.
Jason is the founder and CEO of Celant Innovations. Prior to Celant, Jason was a senior corporate associate attorney at a Wall Street law firm, where he represented investment banks and corporations in securities offerings and debt financing for 8 years. Having retooled his skill set in 2015 and 2016, Jason is an AWS Certified Developer and Security Specialist. Jason is licensed to practice law in New York, Massachusetts and Michigan.
Steve Ramadan, the Managing Partner, has a BS in finance and a law degree. He is a licensed attorney in multiple states and has been in private practice for 29 years. Steve spends most of his time now running the company, rather than practicing law. He says that serving the National Association of Family Services has forced the company to grow significantly. Steve provides the estate planning for its members. When the NAFS began it was doing maybe 15-20 plans per week, but now they are projected to have about 5,000 customers in the next year. Estate planning requires Steve to prepare roughly 10 documents per plan. Prior to using Celant Innovations, the Beneficial Legal team had set up templates in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Access. So, the lawyers would fill in the fields in Access and then merge the documents in Word. Steve says that this process was manual, tedious and very time consuming. This approach was clearly not going to work to keep the business profitable as the client base grew into thousands per year.
